Dr. Evi Noviani, S.Sc., M.Sc., CFrA. is a lecturer from the Department of Mathematics in the fields of applied mathematics research, numerical analysis, and optimization. Dr. Evi, who is a graduate of the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) and the Bandung Institute of Technology (IPB), received doctoral education from the Universite de Poitiers, France, in the field of applied mathematics with a thesis entitled “shape optimization for the wave making resistance” which examines optimum shapes. objects that provide the smallest resistance values. Dr Evi’s research interests include mathematical modelling in differential equations, fluid mechanics, and the study of river/coastal water flows, which are studied mathematically, numerically and physically. Various research grants she has received include UNTAN Innovation Research and Research Collaboration with France.
